What is the Upper Valley Reptile Group?
"UVRG" is a small-scale non-profit reptile rescue & educational resource based out the center of Vermont & New Hampshire. Our out-of-home run reptile rescue provides homes for needy reptiles & amphibians as well as to educate pet owners & bring together reptile enthusiasts of all ages.
Additional to our important rescue & shelter work, we provide valuable educational programs to local schools through our traveling animal exhibits. We are fully insured and licensed for traveling exhibits with some incredible animals.
We are a NH state recognized non-profit organization currently in the process of applying for federal 501(c)3 status. Our hard-working & enthusiastic volunteers dedicate time & financial resources to help keep this project running.
Welcome to the
Upper Valley Reptile Group
Rescue, Education, Conservation
A New Hampshire state recognized non-profit animal shelter & live-animal education program
We provide educational programs & pet adoptions & rescue services to residents of Vermont & New Hampshire.
IMPORTANT ANOUNCEMENT!!!
Due to the recent change in legislation adding Burmese pythons, African Pythons, and Yellow Anacondas the the Lacey Act we will
NO LONGER be offering educational programs with any of these species outside of New Hampshire.
We are unsure if we will continue offering public programs with these animals in the future due to potential regulatory guidelines.
Additionally, we will not be able to take in or re-home any of these animals across state lines. If you are in need of finding a home for your snake, please contact a rescue within your state.
